CICCOM - Cámara Internacional de Comercio del Cono Sur MERCOSUR , was founded on 8th September, 1992, constituted within the legal purposes as a non-profit making private law legal entity.
Qualified as a public interest organization by virtue of Act Nº 9.540, dated 2nd May 1994, it is a NGO (non-govermental organization) composed by professionals, technicians, traders, industrialists, service providers and investment groups.

Since 1992, and always participating in activities coordinated by professionals in their specific fields, CICCOM grew in its branched and decentralized structure, proving an invaluable source of information for companies, developing businesses and stimulating commercial and cultural exchanges.
CICCOM - Cámara Internacional de Comercio del Cono Sur MERCOSUR consists of 38 area committees available to Subsidiary and Member companies, offering highly specialized services.
The Area Committee is formed by directors in their specific fields, under the coordination of a Committee president. Its aim is to assist the CICCOM Subsidiary and Member companies which require specialized information and consulting, by creating an environment where their queries are answered with the terminology, knowledge and swiftness appropriate of the medium where they are generated. Thus, a direct and specific communication is formed allowing the development of good businesses.
The Chamber´s infrastructure is that of the 38 Specialized committes and Regional committees as well as those of the Strategic International Alliances now available to the Subsidiary and Member companies of the entity.
