The idea of compiling a business directory originated when we announced on Internet the data base of the Chamber´s subsidiary and member companies. On describing the activities they performed, there came about an entrepreneur-to-entrepreneur interaction through this site, and contacts resulted in businesses.
Thus, on 15th April 2003 we saw the birth of the first issue of Guiamercosur.com , Business Directory with institutional backing.
Soon after, we had more than 150 companies announcing their products, services and businesses in the site. Today, they are almost 50,000 companies and we keep on growing.
We currently publish companies worldwide wishing to build commercial or professional contacts with entrepreneurs through this site.
Today we define Guiamercosur.com as a Business Directory structured for productive chain, with interactive ads, business alerts, forums and an information area for entrepreneurs. The search for providers and clients is the users'main activity
Our role is to reinforce the links between the buyers and the salespeople of products or services and to announce them globally.
